We love sport. We love it all. Running, Cycling, Swimming, Weightlifting, Football, Basketball, Volleyball, and so much more!


The Problem


Focusing on a sport means you develop sport-specific fitness, often to the detriment of well-rounded fitness. We’ve all met a cyclist with the upper body strength of an 8 year old, or a seemingly fit gym bro who couldn’t walk up a flight of stairs. The everyday person who trains for health and pleasure should aim to develop all aspects of fitness necessary for long term health.

In training to compete for the Everyman Fitness Race, you will develop all aspects of fitness.

As we aim to open up the world of fitness racing to everyone, the race was designed in a way that renders expensive or hard to find equipment, or expensive branded gym subscriptions, unnecessary. People can train for the race at home, at any gym, or outdoors, with minimal equipment.

The Everyday Athlete

Perfect for developing all aspects of fitness. The race tests every major muscle as well as your cardio engine.

Race Format
  1. Run
    6 x 500m Inter-Station Runs & 2km Final Run (5km Total)
  2. Fitness Stations
    7 Unique Fitness Stations

  1. Burpee Broad Jumps
    60 metres
  2. Sandbag Lunges
    60 metres with 20kg (men) / 10kg (women)
  3. Sandbag Clean and Jerk
    20 reps with 25kg (men) / 15kg (women)
  4. Medicine Ball Overhead Throws
    60 metres with 8kg (men) / 5kg (women)
  5. Box Jumps
    20 reps on 70cm (men) / 55cm (women)
  6. Farmer's Walk
    60 metres with 2x25kg (men) / 2x15kg (women)
  7. Sandbag Drag
    60 metres with 50kg (men) / 30kg (women)

The Advanced Athlete

For those who seek a tougher challenge and want to advance further into the top 1% of physical fitness.

    6 x 1km Inter-Station Runs & 4km Final Run (10km Total)

    7 Upgraded Fitness Stations
